The main focus of 3p Institute’s work is the elaboration and adoption of systems to implement national and international criteria of quality, social and environmental standards in various industrial sectors. The key objective is Sustainable Production. This objective looks at ways in which industry can take the initiative to implement sustainable practices into the entire life cycle of the products they produce and services they provide.

Partners come from trade, industry and public donor organisations such as DEG/KfW, BMZ and the European Union.

The main pillar of 3p’s work is Public Private Partnership programmes (PPP-Projects connect economic interests with development goals e.g. social accountability, health& safety, environment, technical skills etc. )

The 3p-Institute offers know-how transfer and assistance in conceptional planning, financing options and project coordination as well as worldwide networking.

Governmental organisations have an interest in reinforcing global standards in producing units mainly in emerging and developing markets. Producing or importing groups need to understand and comply with these standards. And 3p assists!
