gsm Global Sustainabale Management GmbH has been appointed by the German Development Agency DEG to a project aiming at capacity and awareness building in the Tirupur textile community to avoid negative influence on the local export business caused by non-compliance with the REACH Directive. Additional project partners are the 3p Insitute for Sustainable Management and SECOVA. At September 30th , 2009 Mrs. Birgit Karpa and Mr. Beuth gave a brief introduction about the EU REACH directive and the aims of the project on site.
