In June 2009 experts from 3p Institute and gsm visited Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to attend the “Congress on Joint Visioning for Strategy on Development of Textile and Apparel Industry of Kyrgyzstan till 2012″, organized by German GTZ. Aim of the conference was the identification and elaboration of strategies for the apparel&textile industry and raw fibre production. State agencies, entrepreneurs, international experts, potential investors and buyers, farmers and international organizations for technical assistance were participating. The accesorilly site visits of Kyrgyz factories enabled a survey on state of machinery, equipment, technology, product design and development.
