The training program SEAL - Social Standards Exchange of Experience in Southeast Asia and Practical Learning - is supposed to help with the implementation of standards and management systems. 3p as author now tested an online version of the software within a garment factory in Bangladesh. The outcome was very positive, what means that the test group followed the presentation and was very much into the attending discussions. More over it appeared to be much more effective to work in a group, as the participants can exchange ideas, remarks as well as concern and work as a team, which is a crucial aspect to a successful management system.

Within this month, 3p had first conversations with the University of San Carlos / SVD, the local NGO JPIC and the Steyler Bank (Germany) in the Philippines. The plan is to build up a training course for local NGO’s dealing with the autonomous accomplishment of projects in the branch of micro-financing of small scale enterprises and industries in the Philippines. The Universtiy of San Carlos will conduct a general study while 3p will develop first concrete project approaches to advance the plan.
