CSR Conference Tokyo

csr_1245e4bc9ae5a0b413p partner ecotex japan has conducted its fifth CSR-conference in Tokio on 14th of April. Willie Beuth (3p) has contributed with its presenation on “Trust and Value in the Supply Chain”. More than 120 high ranking members from trade and industry attended the conference that is already an inherent part of Japanese CSR culture. The issue of traceable and transparent supply chains is an advanced topic in Japan. Currently it dominates the entire discussion of modern integrated management systems against the background of regular incidents in various sectors.

Fact-Finding Mission Philippines

As a member of BKU 3p Institute has accompanied a fact finding mission in the Visayas and North Mindanao in March 2009 on behalf of BMZ. The German development cooperation intends to start a program to improve the structural conditions of small and medium-seized enterprises in the area. Particularly integrated supply chain issues in order to increase the added value for the local economy has been one major focus of the mission. Industrial sectors such as agriculture, fishery & shrimps as well as the furinture industry have potentials even related to the export market.

Qualification program in textile sector in Bangladesh

imm032_32a.jpgPPP-project: 20 enterprises with about 27.000 members of staff are prepared for upcoming audits and certification. This contains a certain transfer of practical knowledge, the implementation of an integrated management system as well as continous transparency of performance.

Digital Learning System in Vietnam

3p has conducted a Public Private Partnership (PPP) in cooperation with the German software company SLH to establish a Digital Learning Software on CSR issues for the middle management of Vietnamese companies coming from the Garment-/Textile-, Footwear- and food processing sector. As a member of WTO Vietnam is obliged to comply with training on CSR. The Asian country has a growing demand and organizations are promoting this issue among the industry. To avoid disregard on putting knowledge into practice, to support the management in successful implementation of learned skills and to provide necessary documentation formats, the software bridges the gaps between the on-site trainings conducted by CDI.
